On August 1, 2019, the Bates County LEPC received a check for $1,500.00 from Enbridge, Inc. through their Safe Community Program. Since launch in 2002, Enbridge, Inc. has presented over $10.6 million to help equip and train 1stresponders in areas that have Enbridge, Inc. facilities.
The grant will be utilized by the LEPC to train responders in Bates County to the Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations level.
We appreciate the commitment by Enbridge, Inc. to the safety and knowledge of area 1st. responders and welcome them as a partner.
