Bates County Memorial Hospital Celebrates National Nurse’s Week

Bates County Memorial Hospital is celebrating each of our nurses for National Nurses Week, May 6-12, and the compassion, expertise and trust they exhibit in their work.

Although the year has not been easy so far, our community has been so generous and encouraging. Thank you for your support!

National Nurses Week is observed every year May 6-12, which includes Florence Nightingale’s birthday. In honor of her 200th birthday anniversary, 2020 was designated The Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Organization. The designation was announced a year ago, long before anyone knew 2020 would become one of the most challenging for the profession.
