As BCMH prepares for the first round of COVID-19 vaccines, we are gathering the information you need to make an informed decision about receiving a COVID-19 vaccination when it becomes available to you.
- At this time, it is not clear which COVID-19 vaccines BCMH will receive.
- On December 22, we learned we would not receive our first shipment of vaccines as early as expected, but when it is delivered, the first phase of vaccine delivery will be available only to health care workers (patient facing) and long-term care facility residents and staff.
- We do not have a firm date regarding when COVID-19 vaccines will be available for our patients.
Here is what we do know: when the COVID-19 vaccine becomes available, there will be no out-of-pocket expense at BCMH for patients to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
