Butler, MO – The University of Missouri Bates County Extension Office is set to reopen to the public on Monday, May 18, 2020. The office hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed from 12:00 – 1:00 for lunch. Please call ahead for instructions and to prefill out the necessary paperwork if you are planning to bring in soil samples. A maximum of two clients at a time will be allowed in the front office. Clients will be required to wear a nose/mouth covering. Brenda Doody, Office Manager, says, “We really appreciate the public’s patience as we transition to a more normal way of doing business. Our clients have been wonderfully understanding these past couple of months while we were only doing business by phone.” The Bates County Extension Office can be reached by phone at 660-679-4167, or at our physical location on the south side of the Bates County Courthouse.
