Bates County Museum Program: “Captain Harry S Truman’s WWI Memories” Presented by Kavan Stull


The Bates County Museum invites the public to attend a special presentation on Saturday, May 7th at 10:30 am in Robertson Hall.  Guest speaker, Kavan Stull will tell the extraordinary story of President Harry Truman’s military service during World War I.  Stull has meticulously researched these formative years of President Truman’s life and dressed in a WWI era uniform, gives an excellent presentation.  Kavan is a member of the Bates County Historical Society and lives in Oronogo, Missouri.

This program is presented one day prior to President Harry Truman’s birthday, and it is fitting that the beloved President from Missouri be remembered.  The Museum invites all to attend this program.  There will be a Free Will Donation Lunch immediately following.
