On February 23, 2018 a Captain with the Bates County Sheriff’s Office conducted a vehicle stop on I-49. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately 135 grams of a crystal substance was located.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Brandon Stone (DOB 10/24/1981), was arrested and charged with trafficking drugs. His bond was set at $25000.00 cash only.
The passenger, identified as Crystal Lake (DOB 1/31/1989), was arrested for several outstanding warrants she had out of Vernon County, Cooper County, Nevada and Lamar
