It’s November 1st and that can only mean one thing… it’s time for Beards For Kids to start! Like in years past, the Sheriff has agreed to let the deputies grow Beards for the month of November BUT they must collect “sponsorships” for them to grow it out (they are usually required to be clean shaven at all times) and they gather those continued sponsorships by going out and getting donations from the wonderful people in our community throughout the month!
Every single dollar donated goes into the Sheriffs Community Benefit Fund which sponsors their “shop with a Deputy” program at Christmas time and also goes towards other needs in our community throughout the year. BUT this year they are adding a NEW way to donate!
Introducing RIBS FOR KIDS! You can order racks of ribs from Jackwagon BBQ and the money for every rack of ribs sold ALSO goes into that benefit fund!! Check out the flyer and if you have questions or wish to donate get ahold of ANY deputy, detective, or corrections officer at the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and they are more than happy to answer questions and take donations!! They are SOOO excited about this program and are looking to double their donations from last year!!
Please help the deputies grow their beards and in turn support shop with a Deputy and other needs for those in our community!
