When will the CoVID-19 vaccine be available to the general public?Currently, Missouri is in Phase 1A of CoVID-19 vaccine distribution (see the Missouri Hospital Association’s graphic below).
The state of Missouri will decide when the vaccine will become publicly available. At this time, we do not know when that date will be, but the timeline for the general population to get vaccinated is targeted for late spring and summer.
The roll-out for the public will be given out through health departments or an individual’s private physician. The vaccine is also expected to be available at local pharmacies.
When CoVID-19 vaccines become publicly available, our clinics will be ready to administer them, and we will share that news through multiple media formats.Learn more about CoVID-19 vaccines from the Missouri Hospital Association: https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/ Additional resources for vaccine information is available on the Bates County Memorial Hospital website: http://www.bcmhospital.com/covid-19-vaccination-faqs/
