Mt. Vernon, MO – The monthly Beef Newsletter put out by University of Missouri Extension field specialist in livestock, Eldon Cole is accepting names of persons who would like to receive it.
There is no charge for the letter and it may be received by email or conventional mail. If you’d like to receive a copy you may go to https://extension.missouri.edu/counties/lawrence and scroll down to Beef 2020 Newsletter Survey on the left hand side, if you’d like to view past newsletters scroll down a little further to Beef Producers Newsletters and you may email a copy of the survey to colee@missouri.edu(opens in new window) or you may simply call the extension office at 417-466-3102 and ask to be added to the newsletter list.
The newsletter is sent around the 20th of each month and contains dates of upcoming events of interest to stocker and beef cow-calf producers. In addition, items regarding research on feeding, genetics and management will be covered along with local observations by Cole and others involved in beef production.
