The Missouri Highway Patrol responded to an accident on MO 13, just north of Osceola on Saturday, at 12:50am in St. Clair County.
The accident occurred when a 2006 Lexus RX400, driven by Michael Dressler 25 of Liberty Missouri, struck a bicyclist in the passing lane.
The Bicyclist Jordon Sepulveda, 32 of Osceola sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to Cox South in Springfield Missouri.
The Lexus was towed from the scene by Brays Towing of Osceola.
