Brenda Nichols, 74 of Drexel, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (660-679-0009). Graveside services will follow at 11:00 am in Sharon Cemetery, Drexel, Missouri. Friends are welcome to attend, face masks are recommended, and social distancing should be observed. Brenda was born February 13, 1946 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James and Nina Wright Pratt. In the summer of 1961 she met her future husband, Jimmy Ray Nichols. They were married on June 2, 1962 in Corcoran, California. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years Jimmy Nichols, great-grandson Bentley, and by her brother Gary Worsham. She is survived by her four children, son Allen Nichols of Grandview, MO., daughter Terri Corbin and husband Danny of Drexel, MO., son Keith Nichols of Harrisonville, MO., daughter Melissa Mariano and husband Michael of Drexel, MO., nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sister Sharon Mosley and husband Jerry of Shafter, CA., sister Beverly Gray of Tulare, CA.
