Burger King coming to Butler

Some good news today, Butler will be welcoming a new business to town.  Burger King will be coming to town.  Burger King will be located west of the Conoco Station.  The Butler Planning Commission officially welcomed Burger King to Butler during their meeting on Tuesday, Feb 9th.  More information including a timeline will hopefully be made available in the regular Butler City Council meeting on Tuesday Feb 16th

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton. In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
