An accident at the overpass of 52 west and I-49 in Butler sent one person to Bates County Memorial Hospital.
The accident occurred at approximately 5:45 Wednesday evening. Carol A. Stroud received minor injuries after Robert D. Gillespie of Butler rear ended the vehicle of 63 year old Carol Stroud of Milo, Missouri.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Mr. Gillespie was arrested at the scene for driving while intoxicated. He was booked into the Bates County Jail in Butler.
