Bates County Prosecuting Attorney Hugh C. Jenkins has announced the Prosecutor’s Office, The Traffic Office and the Bates County Victim Advocate Office will be closed to the general public until further notice.
The Prosecutor’s Office, Traffic Office and the Victim Advocate Office are still conducting business by phone and email.

All attorneys must call the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for an appointment.
If you need to make restitution payments or a bad check payment, only money orders, debit and credit card payments will be accepted. If mailing your payment, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your paid receipt.
The Bates County Victim Advocate Office is also closed to the general public. However, if you are a victim and need assistance please call 660.679.5699 or 660.679.7503 and the advocate will be available.
These closings will remain in effect until further notice.
