Butler Bears Cross Country Track Update:

Butler Bears Emblem

On Saturday, September 14, Butler’s cross country traveled to Holden for the second meet of the year where it was 59 degrees at start time, which is perfect! there were some good performances and Korry Davis and Brielle Campbell both earned their first career medals in a varsity race!
On Wednesday, September 18, the Butler Bears traveled to Drexel. Conditions were vastly different. So much so that the heat forced the race to be reduced to a 2 mile race (normally it’s 3.1 miles). Times were a little slow for all runners, BUT they brought home 5 medals. Patrick Bell and Korry Davis were medalists, and there were 3 first time medalists – John Buford, Zeke Martin, and Hunter Stevenson.
The Butler Bears will travel to Clinton this Saturday, hoping to avoid the incoming storms! ALL runners will be running at 8:30 am.
