The Butler Bears will play again the Sherwood Marksmen on

home turf this Friday Night. This game will broadcast live

from the studios of 92.1 and as we stream the game from

www.921news.com. We encourage Sherwood fans to also

join us from the web and enjoy the “listen live” option as

their family and friends support the Sherwood Marksmen.

Kick-off is 7 pm. This Friday evening.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton. In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
