Butler Bears Varsity Loses to Heritage Christian Academy Chargers

The Butler Bears Varsity Team took on the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers on Thursday, April 12th in Butler at 4:30pm. Both teams took the field ready to bring home a victory. When the game ended it was the HCA Chargers that took home the win; the final score was 5-2, HCA Chargers.

The Butler Bears Varsity Team had another strong outing by the pitching staff as Freshman Kaleb Pittman threw the ball as well as he has all season.  Unfortunately, Kaleb’s pitching wasn’t enough to secure a victory.

The Butler Bears Varsity Team was unable to overcome a few mistakes that were made, which allowed the HCA Chargers to score.

According to Butler Bear Varsity Team Coach Kevin Hill, “The boys have come a long way, and I believe the effort given during the HCA Chargers game will result in wins on most days. Unfortunately, the [Butler Bears Varsity] came up a little short during this game.”

The Butler Bears Varsity is practicing hard and gearing up to bring home a win at their next game on Monday, April 16th. The Butler Bears will take on the Kansas City Christian School at Prairie Village, Kansas. The first pitch will be thrown at 4:30pm, and the game will be on.
