Commerce Announces the Spring City Wide
Garage Sale Scheduled for May 2nd

If you are wanting to have a Garage you must complete the Registration Form,
pick up Butler Garage Sale Permit, and pay a required $10 fee.
Registration Forms & Permits will be available at World Finance & the
Xchanger newspaper! **Registration Form will also be posted on our Facebook
page**
Your Garage Sale will be listed on the City Wide Garage Sale map that will be
printed in the Xchanger newspaper issued Wednesday, 29th!
Junk in the Trunk will be on the Butler Square! Setup begins at 7AM. A required
$5 fee is due the morning of the event.
Vendors & Garage Sales are welcome to set up at Junk in the Trunk!
Vendors contact Cheyenne Warren to be put on the Vendor lits! Not wating a
bunch of duplicate vendors.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
