The Butler Homecoming Parade will line-up at 1:30 PM at the Butler HighSchool Parking Lot. The Parade will start promptly at 2 pm from the high school. The parade will travel down Nursery Street to Ohio Street and proceed to the Butler Square. The entries are asked to NOT throw candy this year. That’s the Butler Homecoming Parade Friday, September 25th. Game time is 7 pm at the Butler Sports Complex. This game will air from the studios of 92.1 and stream live on the web from www.921news.com

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
