The Butler Rotary Club is selling admission tickets to the March 12th Pancake breakfast. The breakfast will be served from the Butler Senior Center. Adult tickets are $6.00 each, children ages 4-12 are $4.00 each, ages 3 and under are admitted free. It’s Pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and/ or coffee. Purchase your tickets at the door, or from any Butler Rotary member. Win tickets right here Monday thru Friday 9 am to 5 pm. DJ must be on duty to win. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
