Butler Saddle Club Announces Candidates for 2023 Rodeo Queen and Princess Titles

Butler, MO – The Butler Saddle Club is proud to announce the candidates for the 2023 Rodeo Queen and Princess titles. These young women will be competing for the chance to represent the Butler Saddle Club and their community at various rodeo events throughout the year.

The Rodeo Queen Candidates will be judged on four categories: ticket sales, personality, appearance, and horsemanship. Each candidate is required to ride a horse, and all candidates will receive 10% of total ticket sales regardless of placings. The winner will receive the coveted title, crown, buckle, and a chance to receive a saddle.

The Rodeo Princess Candidates will be judged on three categories: ticket sales, personality, and appearance. The princess candidates are welcome to ride a horse if they have one. All candidates will receive 10% of total ticket sales regardless of placings, and the winner will receive the title, crown, and buckle.

The 2023 Rodeo Queen Candidates are:

  • Maecy Claiborne, 21-year-old daughter of Rusty and Sandra Claiborne of Urich.
  • Jasmin Forgette, 17-year-old daughter of Franks and Melinda Forgette of Archie.

The 2023 Rodeo Princess Candidates are:

  • Trinity Parkey, 11-year-old daughter of Justin Wheeler and Melissa Parkey of Drexel.
  • Raquel Lane, 13-year-old daughter of Chris and Angie Capriola of Nevada.

The candidates’ bios will be released at a later date, but for now, mark your calendars for the Butler Saddle Club Rodeo, set to take place on June 16th, 17th, and 18th. The coronation ceremony for the 2023 Rodeo Queen and Princess will be held during the Sunday night performance.
