Butler Saddle Club Rodeo Queen Contestant Reana Van Voorst

Reana Van Voorst is the daughter of Travis Van Voorst and Tonja Ackerman and is the 2021 Butler Saddle Club rodeo queen candidate. Reana attends Butler High School where she will start her junior year in the fall. Reana is a member of the National Honors Society, pop chorus, Butler FFA-she received 11th at state for poultry and 5th at districts for creed speaking, and she earned the greenhand award.

Reana also manages the Butler High School wrestling team. Reana enjoys riding her horse and practicing barrels, hanging with her friends, singing, working at the vet clinic, and traveling. Reana experiences with horses involves being the 2017 Butler saddle club princess and she has competed in barrels and poles.

The three words that best describe Reana are caring, honest, and hard working. When asked what country song best describes her, Reana replied “hard to love” by Lee Brice because “I am hard at accepting change.” Reana’s role model is her brother Ostin (pronounced Austin) Van Voorst because he is outgoing and is not scared of anything and goes after what he wants.
