Butler Saddle Club Rodeo Queen Contestants are Haley Bolling of Adrian and Reana VanVoorst of Butler. Contestants are selling advance Rodeo Tickets for the 2021 Butler Saddle Club Rodeo. Candidates will be judged on ticket sales. Haley and Reana will be at various locations selling tickets and may be seen at various local events. Advance tickets sell for $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 6 to 12 . Kids 5 years old and younger will be admitted free of charge. The 2021 Butler Saddle Club Rodeo Queen contestants will be competing for a Crown, buckle, Choice of $500 dollars or a Saddle and 10% of their ticket sales. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
