As of May 4th after the Stay at Home Order has been lifted, Summer’s Pharmacy of Butler will continue to provide drive-thru window service, curb-side pick-up and home delivery in the city limits of Butler. The lobby of Summer’s Pharmacy will remain closed until further notice. Have patience as they wait for our new normal which may last a little longer than expected. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
