Cass Career Center FFA State Degree and Area Proficiency Awards

Cass Career Center FFA members have been preparing their Supervised Ag Experience (SAE) Record books for the State FFA Degree and Area Proficiency Awards this past month. On Thursday, February 4th, 14 FFA members took their books and applications to Knob Noster to be evaluated.

Those who completed the State FFA Degree application all passed the 2nd round of checks and will move on to the final round on March 1st. Those students were:

*Trevor Campbell

*Hannah Dinges

*Jackson Fogle

*Brandon Johnson

*Drew Swigart

Of those students, Trevor’s application and record book was chosen as the Area Star in Agribusiness for his engine repair business and lawnmowing service. He will now compete for the State Star in Agribusiness.

Students who completed Proficiency Applications were:

*Trevor Campbell – 1st in Ag Mechanics Repair & Maintenance Ownership

*George Frees – 1st in Agriscience Plant Systems

*Javen Fogle – 1st in Dairy Production Placement

*Brandon Johnson – 1st in Turf Grass Management

*Amy Rhodes – 1st in Vegetable Production

*Brandon Johnson – 2nd in Landscape Management

*Austin Pearce – 2nd in Specialty Animal Production

*Ella Shelton – 2nd in Veterinary Science

*Drew Swigart – 2nd in Forage Production

*Nathanael DeVenney – 3rd in Poultry Production

*Reagan Rouse – 3rd in Food Services
