On November 2nd around 6:44 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at Missouri Route 2 and C Highway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 Nissan Versa driven by 88 year old Eugene L. Davis of Peculiar, Missouri turned into the path and was struck by a 2020 Ford F-550 driven by 48 year old Eric L. Vergouven of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Mr. Davis sustained serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.
