CEO Dr. John Bustle to schedule interview to air Tuesday, April 14th at 9 and 5 pm.

CEO Doctor John Bustle of Bates County Memorial Hospital will go live

from the studios of FM 921. To address the public. Dr. Bustle is

scheduled to tape his updated comments on Monday, April 13th. This

recorded interview will air live at 9 am and again at 5 pm during the Local

News segment of our programming. The interview will be posted to the www.921news.com website for your viewing by mid-morning April 14th.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton. In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
