The City of Butler is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Administrative Department for a Codes Officer. The salary range is $35,000 to $45,000 per year depending upon qualifications. They offer employer fully paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance and the MO LAGERS Retirement system. Successful candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, and a valid driver’s license. Also required is one or more years in the construction field and/or experience as a Codes Officer. Pre-employment and random post-employment drug testing are required. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
