City of Harrisonville Hiring Animal Control Officier

The City of Harrisonville is accepting applications for part time Animal Control Officer. Applications are due by May 10, 2021 by 5 p.m. CST. The City of Harrisonville is an equal opportunity employer.

Duties Include:

Cleaning and routine maintenance of the shelter and shelter property, care of animals, assist in the humane disposal of animals, maintenance records of all animals, respond to calls for service, ordinance enforcement and other duties as assigned.

Applicants must be able to:

Work weekends, perform bending and reaching to both ground level and overhead, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls up to 100 pounds.

Applicants must have:

A high school diploma or GED, valid Missouri driver’s license, able to read and write, have good communication skills, have the ability to work well with persons of all ages and establish a good rapport with the public, basic computer skills and previous skills working with animals desired.

Some evenings and weekend hours are REQUIRED.

Salary starts at $15.43 per hour.
