The Clinton School District has received confirmation of 6 positive COVID-19 cases. The buildings affected are Clinton Intermediate School, Clinton Middle School and Clinton High School. This brings the total number of active cases to 53 (44 of which are Clinton School District individuals).
The Henry County Health Center is in the process of conducting contact tracing, most of which is complete.
The Clinton School District has been in constant communication, and cooperating fully, with the Henry County Health Center as they perform the necessary contact tracing and we will continue to follow their guidance.
The Henry County Health Center is responsible for contacting students/staff who need to quarantine due to close contact with the individual who tested positive. If you are not contacted by the Henry County Health Center or the school district instructing your child to quarantine, your child can continue to attend school.
The Clinton School District is following cleaning and disinfecting procedures so that schools can remain open.
Clinton School District students, staff, and community members should continue to use the Daily Self-Screening Checklist found below and should stay home if displaying symptoms of COVID-19.
