There will be a fundraising event for Cora Smith on Saturday, November 13th, from noon until midnight at the Bates County Fairgrounds in the building on the east end. Bates County Fairgrounds are located at 1044-1062 E Nursery St in Butler.
Friends of Cora are holding this event to assist in financial needs as Cora fights stage 3 stomach cancer.
There will be a cornhole tournament with a $5.00 entry fee, there is no payout for the cornhole tournament it is strictly for charity. Winners will receive a trophy or a prize.
At Cora’s Benefit there will be live music and an open mic/open stage. The public is invited to bring an instrument and play.
Food will be served from noon until the food runs out. The meal will consist of smoked brisket, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, a Hawaiian roll, and a bottle of water for $10.00.
Jeff Harper with Be Seen Motorsports will also be making an appearance in one of his whips and selling a limited run of shirts for Cora’s Benefit. Prices will be available at the event.
Bring your lawn chairs and spend the day on Saturday, November 13th, at Cora’s Benefit. Alcohol is welcome but this will be a BYOB event.
All proceeds going directly to Cora Smith to help through this troubling time.
