The Butler JH Basketball teams will be traveling to Hume next week, beginning November 2. This are their requirements due to Covid-19. There will be extra cleaning/sanitation that will take place between games. The gym will be cleared between each game for sanitation, and it is asked that FANS DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY TO WATCH GAMES PRIOR TO THEIR RESPECTIVE GAMES. GAMES WILL NOT START BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED START TIME. Social distancing is expected, and masks are expected when social distancing is not possible.

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
