Miami School Covid19 Case
The Miami R-I School District has been notified of a positive COVID-19 case within the District. This will impact both the elementary and high school. Miami School is working closely with the Bates County Health Department to follow the protocols in place as we navigate this issue.
Please know that the District is unable to release many details due to confidentiality procedures; however, staff and parents of any students who have had prolonged and/or direct exposure have been notified by the school. They will also be contacted by the Health Department with further instructions in regards to quarantine.
We encourage students, staff, and patrons to continue to social distance where possible, frequently sanitize hands, and monitor health symptoms to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
