A milestone for Bates County Memorial Hospital as they began giving the Pfizer vaccine to their staff in the battle against the CoVID-19 pandemic.
Approximately 60 of the Bates County Memorial hospital and clinic staff received the vaccine today, and Dr. Jeffrey Bissing, cardiologist and BCMH Chief of Medical Staff, was among the first.
Andrea Patterson, RN (Surgery Dept.), was part of a team administering vaccines beginning today.
Thanks to Cass Regional Medical Center, Bates County Memorial Hospital was able to share a shipment of the Pfizer vaccine with area hospitals (Nevada Regional Medical Center and Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare).
