Cowboy’N for a Cause “ The call-in dates for the 2019 Electric city In , MR2 Bucking Bulls event is set for September 16th. The call-in number is 660-227-3008. National Federation of Professional Bull Riders call-in between 6 pm and 10 pm. Non Members call in between 7 pm and 10 pm on September 16th. Mini bull Riders call in between 2 pm and 5 pm, $30.00 entry fees will apply. Mutton Busters will sign up at 12:30 on location with $15.00 entry fees. There will be 20 max riders accepted and Mutton Busters must be under age 7 and weigh 65 pounds or under. The call -n date for the MR2 Bucking Bulls will be Monday, September 16th. Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
