Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a two-car accident on Saturday, May 7th at Highway 18 and NW 401 Road at approximately 1:30pm in Henry County.
The accident occurred when a 2009 Chevrolet Impala headed eastbound, driven by Paul Matthes 67 of Clinton, entered into the path of a 2009 Harley Davidson headed westbound, driven by Jeremy Cassaday 45 of Adrian.
Mr. Cassaday sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Health in Kansas City by Life flight.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Golden Valley EMS and Clinton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Gary’s Tow.
