The Butler Aquatic Center will host Dog Days of Summer on Sunday, August 14th from noon until 2pm.
The public is invited to your K-9 to the Butler Aquatic Center, cost is one dollar.
Mayor Henry will cook hot dogs and concessions will be available.
Butler Aquatic Center does want guests and their dogs to know there are a few rules for Dog Days of Summer.
There is a limit of two dogs per patron, dogs must be at least six months old, and handlers need to be 18 or old.
Dogs not in the water must always be on a leash no longer than 6 feet
Strollers and wagons welcome for kids and dogs
Use good judgement do not bring aggressive or dangerous dogs to Dog Days of Summer at the Butler Aquatic Center.
Dogs must be current on vaccination and be wearing their rabies tag.
Bring water bowls and bags to clean up after your dog.
Parents make sure kids know to ask before approaching to pet a dog.
