The Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a one-car accident on Saturday, June 25th at 200 W Main St in Calhoun in Henry County at approximately 12:00am.
The double fatality accident occurred when a 2006 Chevrolet, driven by Christopher McCartney 38 of Windsor Missouri, failed to negotiate a curve in roadway and struck an embankment. The Vehicle then travelled off the roadway and struck a tree.
Christopher McCartney and his passenger Hannah Campbell, 32 of Windsor Missouri were both pronounced deceased at the scene by the Henry County Coroner.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by J’s Southland tow.
