Congratulations are due to Sandra McCarthy, voted Employee of the Year for Bates County Memorial Hospital. Sandra received the honor at the annual BCMH Employee Awards Banquet on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Sandra began her employment with BCMH in September 2015 as a housekeeper in the Housekeeping Department. In her acceptance speech, she expressed how much the recognition meant to her, and how thankful she is to work at the hospital.
Sandra works during the day shift and does an excellent job cleaning some of the hospital’s most difficult areas. Other staff members regularly express compliments regarding Sandra’s outstanding work. She is well liked by others and treats everyone she comes in contact with respect. Sandra truly cares about doing a quality job, and is a tremendous asset to the hospital’s healthcare team.
