Harrisonville community education is offering EMT training beginning Jan 4, 2021. This EMT Course is designed to train students in emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment. It is entry-level training in the emergency medical services career field. Program will follow current Department of Transportation EMT curriculum. Clinical observations on local ambulance services occur outside of the scheduled class time. Students must be certified in basic life support by the AHA and show successful completion of all course requirements for eligibility to take the national registry for EMT practical and written examinations. Students must be 18 or older to take this course. Tuition for this course is 1000.00, tuition assistance is available. Must register for this course and pay down payment of 500.00 at registration.
