From the desk of Coroner Greg Mullinax. Thank you everyone, for your gracious understanding of the tragic state of our community at this time.
Although word tends to travel fast in our small communities, I believe in giving families as much time as I can manage before confirming official details. However, it is my unfortunate duty to provide certain information as the time becomes right.
The two individuals who passed away in last evening’s traffic accident in Butler are identified as follows:
Parker Lawrence, 21 years old of Butler, Missouri;
Troy Guffey, 53 years old of Butler, Missouri.
As the investigation is ongoing, I have no further information to provide at this time.
