A fatality crash occurred on Sunday, August 29th at 605pm on MO 291 at 215th in Cass County. This fatality crash took the life of Delbert Hannah age 30 of Archie MO.
The Missouri Highway Patrol responded to the accident on 291 Highway, the accident occurred when 2020 Chevrolet driven by Delbert Hannah began to overcorrect after passing uninvolved traffic. Mr. Hannah traveled into the oncoming lane and struck head-on a 2020 Ram driven by Donald Beckerdite age 61 of Raymore Missouri.
Mr. Hannah was pronounced deceased at the scene by Medical Examiner K Pitsenbarger and was transported by the medical examiner’s office.
Donald Beckerdite sustained serious injuries and was transported by South Metro EMS to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by J’s Southland Tow of Raymore.
