Missouri Highway Patrol with the assistance of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-car accident on MO-13 at Veterans Road on Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:20pm.
A 2005 Ford, driven by Emily Adams 21 of Warrensburg Missouri, was turning left and failed to yield to a 2015 Jeep, driven by James Kissick 77 of Warsaw Missouri. The Jeep struck the Ford and overturned.
James Kissick and his passenger Linda Kissick, 74 of Warsaw, were both transported to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight.
Linda Kissick has serious injuries and James Kissick passed away from his injuries on Wednesday, August 24th at Truman Medical Center.
The Ford and Jeep were both towed from the scene by Tip Top Tow.
