FM 92 Welcomes Muscle Brigade in Rich Hill

In a new business feature story, Muscle Brigade in Rich Hill is highlighted.  Locally owned and operated by, retired Sergeant First Class, United States Army, Curtis Gwinn.

Gwinn, a Rich Hill native, grew up, went to school, played high school sports, and graduated from Rich Hill High School in 2000.

Curtis has been married to Sherri Gwinn of Adrian for almost 14 years and they have 4 children.

For the last 10 years, Gwinn has had the desire to own a gym and to be able to give back to the kids and the community and educate them on fitness, weight training, powerlifting, and bodybuilding.

When asked how he came up with the name Muscle Brigade, being very proud of the military, Curtis said “in the Army they have, starting at the bottom, a Company then Battalion then a Brigade. The Brigade is the highest of the three”. The military is about family and community. So, he came up with Brigade and then happened to think muscle and so “Muscle Brigade” was formed.

In addition to regular workout equipment, Muscle Brigade offers tanning, personal training, sports training, and camps. They also offer presentations if you want them to come in and talk to your group about health nutrition and training.

The goals at Muscle Brigade are to educate the customers that come in, especially the youth on the fundamentals of lifting and stretching. They also look forward to building a bigger facility in the future so that they can offer a variety of exercises or group classes such as Zumba or Yoga.

If you would like more information about Muscle Brigade and the services offered, contact Curtis at 417-283-1694.  You can also see them on Facebook.  FM 92 welcomes one of Rich Hill’s newest businesses, “Muscle Brigade”, and we wish them much success.
