A Food Drive is being run in Adrian to benefit the Adrian School District Backpack Food Program, which is currently funded by the school faculty and provides backpacks to 30 students.
The Food Drive is currently running and will continue until Wednesday, April 15th. The public is encouraged to drop off nonperishable food items at any of the drop off locations in Adrian: Byrd’s Pecans, The Wine Journal, Dollar General, and Yoss Thriftway.
Any nonperishable food may be donated, but the program does specifically need the following: pudding cups, ramen noodles, peanut butter, soup, crackers, cereal, granola bars, vegetables, fruit snacks, and jello.
