On Monday, March 13th Rich Hill American Legion Post #67 honored Korean War vet Frank Droz of Rich Hill.
Frank was awarded an official proclamation of Ambassador for Peace by the Republic of Korea for his military service in helping to restore and preserve their freedom and democracy.
From 1952-1956, Frank served in the United States Air Force. He worked on the aircraft radios. Frank said pilots would say that next to the engine, the radio was their most important instrument.
We thank Mr. Droz for his years of service and congratulate him on his prestigious award.
