The Cass County
Health Department will be holding FREE car seat safety classes for families in
need of a car seat or booster seat for their child on Tuesday, October 1st
from 9:30 – 11:30 at the Cass County Health Department.
Registration is
required and distribution is limited to one seat per family, per year.
On the agenda will
be a 1 hour class on child passenger safety, crash mechanics, and choosing the
right car seat followed by a 1-hour installation event where caregivers will
learn and demonstrate how to properly install their car seat.
Requirements are registration,
proof of Cass County residency, and the child that will be using the seat.
