In a joint effort between Nevada Police and Colorado State Patrol one fugitive has been taken into custody.
Sunday, July 11th, officers from Nevada Police Department obtained information on the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive from Vernon County. It was reported the fugitive was now in Colorado.
Communication was quickly established with the Colorado State Patrol and they were able to locate the fugitive and take them into custody.
During the arrest, it was discovered the suspect was in possession of a loaded handgun, which the fugitive was prohibited from possessing. The individual now faces additional charges in Colorado.
