Around 4:30 pm on Friday, January 21st the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Unit was requested to help in the arrest of a wanted fugitive from Clay County Missouri.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff’s Office CAU captured 27-year-old Branden L. Scales, of Kansas City Missouri who is wanted on Statutory Sodomy/Attempt-Deviate Sexual Intercourse With A Person Less Than 14 years old warrant.
An investigation led to a house in the 20000 block of S. Mullen in Belton where the subject was found hiding inside.
Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies transported the subject to the Clay County Jail.
