The Annual Rich Hill toys Youth Development Center continues the Annual Firestone Tire Raffle ticket sale. To date, the community has purchased or made cash contributions for a total of $1,900 dollars. Each 5 dollar purchase will get you in a contest to win a set of (4) Firestone Tires valued at 500 dollars. To Purchase your ticket call Doug McCrorey 417-283- 1500. The winner will be announced on March 1st. The winning ticket may be redeemed at any Firestone Dealer. All proceeds will support the needs of the Rich Hill Boys Youth Development Center. The deadline to purchase raffle tickets will be February 29th. Cash donations are appreciated in lieu of raffle ticket purchases. Thank you, for your donations. |

Bates County Broadcasting opened as a single day-time station on May 11th 1962. Broadcasting from sunrise to sunset 7-days each week. This was the first radio station to broadcast in the Bates County Area. Owned and Operated by Bill Thornton and his brother Jerry Thornton.
In 1975 the FM Frequency was added and the stations simulcast. The FM has a 24 hours license but just broadcast from 6 am until 10 pm.
